At Aspen our acne IPL facials (as featured on Dr Pimple Popper and 10 Years Younger) work by heating up the skin where the acne break out is enabling the safe irradiation of bacteria, papules and pustules (commonly referred to as spots )Bringing all of the skins impurities to the surface therefore enabling them to be removed .
IPL addresses a variety of skin issues from spots to scars without harming healthy skin cells.
IPL treatments penetrate the skins tissue to get right to the source of the inflammation and infection.
The IPL energy at different wave lengths can also be used to selectively destroy pigment cells that can cause uneven pigmentation ,dramatically reducing the visibility of acne scarring creating a more uniform even skin tone.
