Eyelash tinting colours the eyelashes from the root to the tip resulting in darker more noticeable lashes visibly lengthening, darkening and thickening.

How long does it last?

Depending on the individual's hair type eyelash and eyebrow tints should last 2-3 weeks.

Benefits

The root and the tip of the eyelash hair are usually lighter than the shaft therefore tinting will darken the hair accentuating the eyes.

Is eyebrow and eyelash tinting safe?

Yes absolutely! At Aspen we will first carry out an eyelash tint to make sure that you do not have a reaction -this will be carried out at least 24 hours before treatment.

What are the benefits of an eyelash tint?

There are several benefits including making your eyelashes look longer and darker more defined and fuller.

It is convenient for athletes and busy people as there is no need to wear mascara or clients with light eyelashes who prefer a more natural l; ook.

How often should I get an eyelash tint and eyebrow tint?

Approx every 4 weeks to keep the eyelashes and eyebrows in their optimal colour and condition.

Are there any side effects?

No not when a patch test has come back negative ie no reaction.

How will I know if I have reacted to a patch test?

You will feel slight swelling, redness or a rash one or all three of these would mean you were allergic to the tint and would contra-indicate treatment.
